BUT WE HAD A REASONABLE SUMMER, THERE ARE STILL A LOT OF FLOWERS IN MY GARDEN SOME OF THEM HAVE BEEN BLOOMING SINCE JUNE ! AND THEY WILL GO ON TILL THE FIRST FROSTS. MY GARDEN IS NOT SO BIG SO I LOVE PLANTS WHO BLOOM FOR A VERY LONG TIME. I TOOK SOME PICTURES THIS AFTERNOON.

MY SWEET FRANCIS

I WOULD LIKE TO SHOW YOU MY SWEET FRANCIS, HIS FULL NAME IS FRANCIS.E.LESTER AND HE IS A RAMBLER ROSE WHO GROWS TO 6 METERS AND MORE IF HE GETS THE SPACE. MY FRANCIS THOUGH MANAGED TO SELFSEED IN THE MIDDLE OF A SKIMMIA BUSH AND I DON’T HAVE THE HEART TO REMOVE HIM COS HE IS SO PRETTY, HE SMELL’S NICE, BLOOMS FOR MONTHS ON END AND GETS NICE ORANGE BOTTLES IN AUTUMN. I HAVE TO KEEP HIM SMALL BUT HE DOESN’T SEEM TO MIND.

SO HERE HE IS:

HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY AND A GREAT WEEK AND THANKS FOR VISITING !

PRIMA BALLERINAS

Fuchsia’s, you cannot but love them !!! They are easy to care for and look pretty a whole Summer till the first frost. I always go for the winterhardy  ones(some are more winterhardy than others)  and there are a lot to chose from and it is difficult to make a choice as where I buy my plants they have over 3000 !!!! different fuchsia’s to chose from!!! Most of them love shade but there are a lot who like a place in the sun if they get enough water.

THIS LAST ONE IS FUCHSIA MAGELLANICA, THE MOST WINTERHARDY OF ALL, YOU CAN PUT IT IN A BIG POT BUT IT IS ACTUALLY A BUSH, YOU CUT IT DOWN IN SPRING AND IN NO TIME IT GROWS TO 1.25 M OR HIGHER AND IT BLOOMS FOR MONTHS ON END.

ENJOY YOUR GARDEN AND THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT !
