Last week we went to a flower exhibition in a nearby village. It was rather windy so it was difficult to take some decent pictures but I managed to take a few.
I hope you enjoyed this littel tour arround the exhibition garden.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your garden !
It’s definitely flowertime in the garden alas the rain and the wind can ruin it in no time, the weather is very unstable, one moment it looks like Summer with a blue sky and sun, the next the sky is grey and we get lots of rain or worse ; a thunder storm. So we enjoy the moments we can and when the bbq falls into the water we move to the kitchen and bake our meat in a fryingpan :D….
YOU JUST HAVE TO LOVE THESE BLUE LOBELIA’S
HYDRANGEA, ALWAYS PRETTY AS A PICTURE
CAN YOU SEE THE WHITE CRABSPIDER ?

AUCUBA JAPONICA, ONE OF MY FAVORITE BUSHES, IT IS WINTERGREEN AND LOOKS SUNNY COS OF THE YELLOW SPOTS, IT PREFERS A SHADY PLACE SO I HAVE THEM IN THE CORNERS OF MY GARDEN AND WHEN I LOOK AT THEM IN WINTER IT IS AS IF THE SUN IS SHINING, EVEN ON A DARK DAY. YOU CAN EVEN USE IT A S A POTPLANT INSIDE IN A COOL HALLWAY.

I AM ALWAYS A BIT SAD AT THE END OF THE SUMMER AS WE NEVER KNOW HOW LONG AND HOW BAD WINTER WILL BE THIS TIME.
THANKS FOR VISITING AND HAVE A GREAT WEEK !
Fuchsia’s, you cannot but love them !!! They are easy to care for and look pretty a whole Summer till the first frost. I always go for the winterhardy ones(some are more winterhardy than others) and there are a lot to chose from and it is difficult to make a choice as where I buy my plants they have over 3000 !!!! different fuchsia’s to chose from!!! Most of them love shade but there are a lot who like a place in the sun if they get enough water.
THIS LAST ONE IS FUCHSIA MAGELLANICA, THE MOST WINTERHARDY OF ALL, YOU CAN PUT IT IN A BIG POT BUT IT IS ACTUALLY A BUSH, YOU CUT IT DOWN IN SPRING AND IN NO TIME IT GROWS TO 1.25 M OR HIGHER AND IT BLOOMS FOR MONTHS ON END.
ENJOY YOUR GARDEN AND THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT !
