SONORAN DESSERT ARIZONA

We visited the Sonoran dessert last March whilst on holiday in Arizona, it’s a great place and not too hot yet in Spring. In Summer the heat must be unbearable !!! I loved every second of it !

THOSE SAGUARO CACTI WERE REALLY IMPRESSIVE, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU KNOW THEY ONLY GROW A FEW INCHES A YEAR.

THEY LOOKED ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AGAIST THE BLUE SKY.

THE SONORAN DESSERT STILL LOOKS VERY WILD.

We loved the peace and quiet, when you go on vacation in  Europe there are crowds everywhere so you can’t take a decent picture !

Have a great week all and thanks for visiting, don’t forget to enjoy your garden or balcony !

WALNUT CANYON ARIZONA

On our way to Phoenix we visited Walnut Canyon, a beautiful piece of nature. You could see where people lived in the old days, they just had a hole in a mountain, that must have been really uncomfortable !

NATURE WAS VERY ROUGH AND PURE THERE, UNFORTUNATELY WE COULD NOT DO THE HIKING BIT COS OF MY TERRIBLE FEET SO WE WALKED ARROUND THERE AND DISCOVERED  SOME BEAUTIFUL GEMS.

Wonderfull Arizona

So we have been travelling in Arizona for about 17 days. First we flew from Brussels to London and from there to Las Vegas (Nevada) as we wanted to see Arizona from North to South. There was a hired car waiting for us there and off we went. As the trip was long and tiring we wanted to relax in Vegas and see a bit of Vegas too. That is quite a special city, it is all about the gambling and the booze and the lights ofcourse. As we don’t drink or gamble we did a lot of sight seeing and we loved what we saw;   the nature  and the gardens and the animals in the city.

And it was hot hot hot, we came from 3 C° in Belgium to           30 C° in Vegas.

Have a great weekend all !
